After IIIS cinema school in Paris, François Nemeta has one focus : directing music videos.
He meets young Michel Gondry and becomes his personal assistant from 1995 to 1999, learning clever cinematographical technical skills.
Back in France, he buys a 16mm camera and directs his first short films, quickly to be followed by successful music videos (#1 worldwide « Lady » by Modjo, 5 videos for Kings of Convenience, Wax Tailor and for many other artists) and international commercials and campaigns (2012 Cannes Lions – Epica and EuroBest-awarded Flashmob stunt for Tic Tac …).
He started a short-film-trilogy about dead rock stars « Now That’s What I Call Music » , and he is currently writing his first feature film project.
